In Singapore presently 119 foreign commercial banks in Singapore, of which 28 are Full banks, 54 are Wholesale banks, and 37 are offshore banks. Foreign banks in Singapore are widely spread, full banks which provides transaction facility in Singapore dollar also, offshore banks and wholesale banks. Wholesale banks cannot deal in Singapore dollar are limited to only one office within the country.
